How we built this setup
The walking pad and desk height must work together. A standing desk converter can raise the work surface, but the final keyboard and screen position still needs to support comfortable posture. Test slow walking with a simple task before trying meetings, typing, or longer sessions.
Foot comfort is part of the equipment decision. Indoor walking shoes, cushioned socks, and an anti-fatigue mat address different parts of the routine: shoes support movement, socks reduce friction, and the mat helps during stationary standing breaks. Keep the mat clear of the pad's moving area unless the product instructions allow that placement.
A subscription-free heart-rate tracker and microfiber towel are optional. Verify walking-pad dimensions, desk stability, shoe fit, floor clearance, and the current product instructions before using the setup.
Under-desk movement checks:
โข Set screen and keyboard height before increasing walking time.
โข Keep cables, chair legs, and the mat outside the walking pad's moving area.
โข Start slowly and stop if balance, posture, or foot comfort deteriorates.
โข Store the remote and towel where they cannot fall into the belt.
